People of Pepperdine: Ginnie Revenaugh

“One of the most shaping experiences in my life that made me who I am was my experience with my parents. They got divorced and each got divorced again, then married again, so the marriages in my family have been a little bit crazy. It was not fun or a positive experience, I would say, but through it all, I have gotten really, really close with both of my parents and really, really, really close with my siblings, who are my best friends. I would say those experiences are what shaped my values and who I am and who I want to be. I think when you go through trial, it gives you perspective into what life is all about and lets you see beyond just your own circumstances in your circle that isn’t necessarily what life is all about.” – Ginnie Revenaugh
