Opinion: The Graphic Predicts the 2024 NFL Season (Week 10)

November 10, 2024 by Justin Rodriguez

Can we even call it Deja Vu at this point?

The Kansas City Chiefs are still the only undefeated team in the NFL after a thrilling overtime 30-24 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Chiefs jump to 8-0 on the year.

Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield took Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to the wire, throwing for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to bring the Bucs to within 1 point of the Chiefs, 29-30. But, instead of taking the chance on the 2-point conversion, Bucs Head Coach Todd Bowles decided to take the extra point to kick the game into OT. From there, it was all Chiefs who walked away with the win to save their flawless season.

After nine weeks of play in the 2024 NFL season, the Buffalo Bills lead the AFC East with a 7-2 record, the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly edge out the Baltimore Ravens with a 6-2 record in the NFC North, and with one less game played than the Ravens and the Houston Texans lead a weak AFC South with a 6-3 record.

In the NFC, the Washington Commanders continue to lead the East in a battle with the Philadelphia Eagles with a 7-2 record, the Detroit Lions top a packed North with a 7-1 record, with two teams trailing just one win behind and the Arizona Cardinals round out the West with a 5-4 record in an admittedly weak division.

That’s all for the recaps, here is a look at the updated standings:

Gabrielle – 89 points

Hunter – 87 points

Shane – 85 points

Nick – 86 points
