Edgy Instagrammers who Can Add Spice to Your Newsfeed

March 15, 2016 by Bailey Bosworth

Is your Instagram newsfeed a little dry? Do you need to spice it up with edgy, new bloggers to bracket out the basic posts of your classmates? Then follow these witty fashion and lifestyle bloggers this month.

1. Manrepeller

Founded and run by Leandra Medine, Manrepeller is a blog based on the principle that women should wear what they want, and not let what men think of fashion to dissuade them from wearing what they want. Instead, the brand is about staying true to your individual style and not concerning yourself with what men think is attractive. Headquartered in New York, the team is made up of funny individuals with a unique sense of style. Check out Leandra’s shenanigans here @manrepeller on Instagram.

2. Late Afternoon

Another fun personality to follow on the ‘gram is Liz Cherkasova, the face behind @lateafternoon. She lives in Los Angeles, and floods newsfeeds with beautiful photos. She posts everything from styled photo shoots, to trendy new locations she’s scouted and colorful food that seems to jump off the screen, to transcendent landscapes. Her blonde long bob (lob, for short) completes every look that is styled to a T. Her style is girly and fun, but also extremely polished.

3. Krystal Bick

Catch @krystal_bick roaming the streets of the concrete jungle in a pair of fabulous heels or dressed in an Oscar-worthy gown as she rides the subway. She runs a style and travel site called thistimetomorrow-krystal.blogspot.com, where she posts all of her adventures and style choices. She is extremely elegant and classy, with a hint of trendy and edgy. Her newsfeed? Think lots of runway shoes, street style posts and gorgeous Mexican sunsets.

4. Happily Grey

Happily Grey, run by Mary Seng, is a fashion blog based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Seng’s Instagram features a lot of neutral and — you guessed it — gray tones, along with an overwhelming amount of white. She is really into aesthetics and, with her photos, captures a variety of fashion shows, street style and travel. Very girly with a dash of grunge and high fashion is the best way to describe her style. Follow @happilygrey to scope out her unique travels and site.

5. Zanitazanita

A must-follow Instagram personality is @zanitazanita, the Australian street style blogger who is always running around the globe, snapping photos of incredible views. Whether she is in Paris or Melbourne, her grunge-y style always shows through in her clothes. She is always true to her style and rocks her short blonde hair like nobody’s business.

Change up your Instagram feed with these cool bloggers and be prepared to get inspired.
