Crimes – Assault/Battery – Sex Crimes – Sexual Battery 

Location: Off-Campus

Location – Overseas

Summary: A student reported a sexual battery that occurred off campus.

 

10/28/14 2:56 p.m.

Crimes – Larceny/Theft – Theft from a Vehicle 

Location: Malibu Campus

Summary: A staff member reported the theft of a license plate registration sticker from a university vehicle.

 

10/29/14 9:54 a.m.

Incidents – Suspicious Circumstances

Location: Thornton Administration Center

Summary: A staff member reported a concern regarding six unusual voicemail messages; the unknown caller may have been under the influence of a drug. No threats were made.

Incidents – Suspicious Circumstances

Location: Facilities Services

Summary: A staff member with Mail Services reported receiving an envelope containing a fraudulent check. The matter was turned over to the U.S. Postal Service for further investigation.

Incidents – Verbal Altercation/ Disturbing the Peace

Location: Raleigh Runnels Pool

Summary: There was a report of a Crest Member placing their hands on a staff member and being verbally intimidating.

Drugs & Alcohol Related Incidents – Possession of Alcohol

Location: George Page Residential Complex

Summary: Public Safety officers responded to investigate a report of an alcohol violation in a dorm room.

 

11/1/14 12:21 a.m.

Drugs & Alcohol Related Incidents – Possession of Alcohol 

Location: Rho Parking Lot

Summary: Public Safety officers responded to investigate a report of an intoxicated student. LA County paramedics responded, and the student was transported to a nearby hospital by McCormick ambulance.

Location: Hall 12 – Knott House

Summary: Public Safety officers responded to investigate a report of an intoxicated student.

Drugs & Alcohol Related Incidents – Drunk in Public 

Location: Hall 2 – Phillips House

Summary: Public Safety officers responded to investigate a report of an intoxicated student. LA County Sheriff’s department and paramedics responded. The student was transported to a nearby hospital by McCormick ambulance.

Incidents – Possession of Open Alcohol Containers 

Location: Hall 8 – Pauley House

Summary: There was a report of a visitor in possession of open containers alcohol in their vehicle.

 

11/2/14 11:58 a.m.

Incidents – Waterline Break – Leak Outside

Location: Malibu Country Estates

Summary: A faculty member reported a waterline break at an off–campus university property. A Public Safety officer and Facilities Services responded. The source of the water leak was identified as a broken two inch irrigation line. Facilities Services remained on scene for immediate repairs.
