Summary: An individual with no affiliation to the university reported receiving a suspicious phone call from a Pepperdine phone number requesting credit card information.

Summary: A staff member reported a sliding door off its rail and the lock mechanism broken; however, nothing was reported missing from the area.

Drugs & Alcohol Related Incidents – Drunk in Public
Location: Hall 14 – Donald W. Darnell
Summary: Public Safety officers responded to a report of an intoxicated student on campus. Los Angeles County paramedics were called, and the student was transported to a nearby hospital.

Incidents – Heat And Smoke Alarms
Location: Center for Communication and Business
Summary: The Caf was evacuated after a staff member reported smelling something burning. There was no fire. Public Safety and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded but the smell quickly dissipated and they were unable to determine the cause.

Summary: A taxi driver reported an unconscious passenger in their vehicle. Public Safety Officers responded and identified the individual as a student that had fallen asleep.

Summary: A Malibu resident reported Pepperdine students hosting parties at a nearby residence, causing multiple disturbances in the neighborhood.

Traffic Related – Hit And Run, Non Injury Accident
Location: Seaver Academic Complex
Summary: Moderate damage was reported after multiple witnesses reported hearing a loud noise and then observing a vehicle drive away after hearing a building being hit.

Location: Stotsenberg Track
Summary: A Public Safety officer responded to a report of a person possibly under the influence of alcohol. No one was found in the area matching the description of the person in question.
9/21/14 4:11 a.m.
Incidents – Suspicious Person
Location: Seaver Drive
Summary: An unauthorized person was escorted off campus after being warned of trespassing.
