Incidents – Suspicious Circumstances

Location: Tyler Campus Center

Summary: A staff member reported a suspicious package. Public Safety officers responded and determined it was a student’s backpack.

 

3/11/14 10:42 a.m.

Parking Related – Illegally Parked Vehicle

Location: Seaver Drive

Summary: There was a report of an illegally parked vehicle with an unattended dog inside. Public Safety officers took possession of the animal and Malibu Tow relocated the vehicle to a legal space.

 

3/12/14 6:45 p.m.

Drugs & Alcohol Related Incidents – Possession of Alcohol

Location: School of Law

Summary: Public Safety officers responded to investigate individuals consuming alcoholic beverages on the patio area outside the cafeteria. Four visitors were warned for drinking in public and the alcohol was disposed of at the scene.

Crimes – Possession of a Weapon On Campus

Location: Drescher Student Housing Apartments

Summary: Public Safety officers responded to a report of a firearm in a student’s vehicle.

 

3/13/14 5:31 p.m.

Departmental – Found Property

Location: Cultural Arts Center

Summary: Found vehicle keys were turned in to Public Safety.

 

3/13/14 7:45 p.m.

Departmental – Found Property

Location: Communications & Business Center

Summary: A found cell phone was turned in to Public Safety.

 

3/14/14 1:03 a.m.

Departmental – Found Property

Location: Payson Library

Summary: A found tablet was turned in to Public Safety.

 

3/14/14 8:55 a.m.

Departmental – Found Property

Location: Howard White Recreation Center

Summary: A found credit card was turned in to Public Safety.

 

3/4/14 10:58 p.m.

Traffic Related – Traffic – Skateboarding On Campus

Location: Eddy D. Field Baseball Stadium

Summary: There was a report of individuals rollerblading on campus. Public Safety officers responded and warned the visitors about the university policy restriction.

 

3/15/14 5:26 a.m.

Departmental – Found Property

Location: Payson Library

Summary: A found backpack was turned in to Public Safety.

 

3/15/14 7:23 p.m.

Service Calls – Return of Found Property

Location: Alumni Park

Summary: A found wallet was turned in to Public Safety.

 

3/16/14 2:27 p.m.

Incidents – Suspicious Person

Location: Eddy D. Field Baseball Stadium

Summary: A Public Safety officer responded to a report of a suspicious person. The officer spoke with witnesses but could not locate the individual in the area.

 

3/16/14 3:09 p.m.

Traffic Related – Traffic – Skateboarding On Campus

Location: Drescher Campus Parking Structure

Summary: Public Safety officers responded to a report of individuals skateboarding in the Drescher campus parking structure. The individuals were warned about university skateboarding policy restrictions.

 

3/16/14 5:22 p.m.

Incidents – Suspicious Circumstances

Location: Off Campus Housing – Calamigos Ranch

Summary: A student reported a suspicious person at an off-campus housing site.
