2/11/14 6:33 a.m.

Incidents – Accident, Injury

Location: Hall 2 – Phillips

Summary: There was a report of a student fainting in their suite bathroom, hitting their head on the floor. Public Safety officers and LA County paramedics responded. The student was transported to a nearby hospital by a McCormick ambulance.

 

2/11/14 9:37 a.m.

Crimes – Larceny/Theft – Petty Theft – Misc.

Location: George Page Residential Complex

Summary: A student reported that three textbooks were missing from their George Page apartment. A store employee reported a student sold the stolen books back to the bookstore.

 

2/11/14 2:23 p.m.

Crimes – Computer Crime

Location: Thornton Administration Center

Summary: A student reported that someone used their laptop to view pornographic websites.

 

2/12/14 1:26 a.m.

Incidents – Conduct Violation/Obstructing University Officials

Location: George Page Residential Complex

Summary: Public Safety officers responded to investigate a report of an after-hours visitation violation in an apartment.

 

2/12/14 11:44 a.m.

Incidents – Property Damage – Non–Criminal

Location: Appleby Center

Summary: A staff member reported property damage. They found what appeared to be melted wax on the carpet, chairs and a podium in a classroom.

 

2/12/14 2:02 p.m.

Incidents – Suspicious Person

Location: Cultural Arts Center

Summary: There was a report of two suspicious individuals. The individuals had no affiliation with the university or official business on campus. A Public Safety officer warned the individuals for trespassing on private property and escorted them off campus.

 

2/12/14 11:01 p.m.

Incidents – Property Damage – Non–Criminal

Location: Stotsenberg Track

Summary: There was a report of a broken water pipe at the track. Facility Services responded and shut off water until repairs could be completed.

 

2/13/14 9:14 a.m.

Crimes – Assault/Battery – Criminal Threats

Location: Malibu Campus

Summary: There was a report that a student made a threat against the university on a social media web site.

 

2/13/14 11:46 a.m.

Drugs & Alcohol Related – Possession of Alcohol

Location: Hall 15 – Miller

Summary: Public Safety officers found alcohol and two knives in a dorm room while conducting an investigation.

 

2/13/14 9:09 p.m.

Incidents – Disturbance – Loud Noise

Location: Pendleton Learning Center

Summary: A student reported loud chanting noises coming from the Pendleton Learning Center. Public Safety officers responded immediately but were unable to locate the source.

 

2/13/14 11:21 p.m.

Incidents – Suspicious Person

Location: Howard A. White Center

Summary: There was a report of a suspicious person sleeping on a couch. Public Safety officers were unable to verify any affiliation with the university or official business on campus. They were warned for trespassing on private property and were escorted off campus.

 

2/16/14 9:23 p.m.

Traffic Related – Traffic – Skateboarding On Campus

Location: Drescher Campus Parking Structure

Summary: There was a report of individuals skating in the Drescher campus parking structure. Public Safety officers made contact with the individuals and warned them about the no skating policy.
