This cafe offers breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner food with a cozy, Americana style atmosphere. Pepperdine students receive a 20 percent discount off their entire bill on weekdays.
>> Coogies Beach Cafe:
This American cuisine cafe serves Pepperdine students a 10 percent discount on everything, every day of the week. Nestled in a the Colony Plaza just few minutes from campus, its simple and delicious food makes it a popular choice in Malibu.
>> Howdy’s Taqueria:
This organic restaurant claims to be the “healthiest” and “friendliest” establishment in Malibu. Located on Cross Creek Road, Howdy’s has a large menu which includes burritos, tacos and sushi. The 10 percent student discount is applied to everything.
>> Oceanne Salon and Day Spa:
This trendy day spa offers a variety of salon services including haircuts, manicures and facials. The only student discount the salon offers are price reduced haircuts. Venture down to the Pointe Dume shopping center and treat yourself to a spa day.

The Pepperdine ID reaches farther than just local establishments. Even cell phone retailers offer student discounts on your monthly bill. Major cellular companies like Sprint, Verizon and AT&T will give discounts. Contact your retailer for more details. If you are thirsting for more news but cannot find the space in your budget, the New York Times offers a 50 percent discount to students and faculty.
Never be afraid to ask for the student discount. Most stores and eateries only will give the discount upon request.
